Since its formation in 1981 and official registration in January 1989, Maharashtra Mandal of Victoria Inc (MMVIC) has been a cornerstone for families who migrated from Maharashtra to Victoria, Australia. Our mission is to promote and nurture Marathi culture within the community, preserving our rich heritage and passing this legacy to the next generation.
Membership Details
The Life membership is only available to a person over 60 years of age who has been a member of MMVIC for more than 10 years. The Life membership shall include the primary member and spouse. The Life member are entitled to the same benefits as those enjoyed by the Senior Citizen Family members.
The Senior Citizen Family membership includes the primary member who is a senior citizen as per the definition in Australian law, spouse and their dependent children.
Maximum two adults, the primary member and spouse are eligible to vote in the Annual General Meeting and Special General Meeting subject to the criteria set out in MMVIC Constitution clause 9.4.9
